The blind children’s home currently hosts seventeen kids, and we recently completed a new facility for them to live. All of the children living in the Jumla Project come from extremely poor areas of Nepal.
Their families are not able to support children with disabilities. Some of the kids are older but were behind in school and not able to get a job. Below, you can see their pictures and read their stories.
For $100 a month a child can be fed, clothed, housed, and educated. The care of a child’s physical needs can be a long-term commitment. However, we only ask for one year at time because we know that financial situations can change over time.
